I'm happy to report that I have everything in a draft (though a complete draft) form. It's been sent off for my faculty committee to give it a first thorough review in this complete form. I know it'll take several drafts until it's ready for defense, but I finally feel like I'm on those final steps to completion. It's a huge weight off my shoulders to be at this level of done. It's kept me away from writing here, but I'm hopeful that everyone reading this will understand. It needed to be done.
Since last I had written, I opened my practice. My private practice is an extension of my agency, Unity Family Services' (webpage here: http://www.ufsmentalhealth.com/), group practice. So, open for business. As my main page says, if you're interested in learning more or making a referral I can be reached at any of my contact links or here: email@example.com. Also I have a Psychology Today listing, which lists my other contact information is on my Home tab.
I will also be having another Gaming and Health Day at my office on July 25th. I've been busy with several of my colleagues getting this organized. The good folks at my local GameStop and at Mega Bloks (met them at NYCC) have provided some prizes and giveaways. Looks like we'll have the support of New Dimension Comics helping out with table top gaming, and then I had the good fortune of making contact with a local Nintendo representative, so he'll be joining us as well. I'll have pictures after the event for all of my online friends and followers. I'm working on the Livestream part for this as well, fingers crossed. More details on that coming soon. However, this event is growing. We'll do it one more time in the Fall to include local colleges and then I think we'll have worked out most of the bugs with event planning to make it a larger one time deal next year. My first attempt at a Con, I suppose.
I'm working on another content related post, I'll have that up in a day or so, just wanted to take this opportunity to update everyone and get back into a good routine here.
Lots to look forward to. Please bear with my delays just a little longer, thanks for all of your support.
